CHARLES I, (1625 - 1649), Tower Mint under king, silver crown, mm harp over rose over feathers/harp, issued 1632-3, Group II, type 2a, (29.67 grams), rev. group of four commas as stops in the legend, (S.2756, N.2192, Cooper X+/XIV, Brooker 246 [same dies]). Toned, round and attractive, nearly very fine/very fine and very scarce.

Ex Mark E. Freehill Collection, from Noble Numismatics Sale 94 (lot 2107), previously from Dolphin Coins, London, November 1982, from the Seaby Coin & Medal Bulletin July 1982 (E500) and the Cornwall Collection.
