PHRYGIA, Laodikeia, (c.100-90 B.C.), silver cistophoric tetradrachm, (12.18 g), Polemaios magistrate, obv. cista mystica containing serpent, all within ivy wreath, rev. bow in case between two coiled serpents, to left **LAO*, to right a caduceus with fillet, **POLEMAIOU* above, (cf.S.5147, SNG von Aulock -, SNG Cop. 488). Toned, Good very fine.
