SYRIA, Seleucid king, Antiochos III `the Great', (222-187 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (29mm, 16.93 g), Uncertain Mint 68 in Mesopotamia, obv. diademed head right of Antiochos III, rev. Apollo Delphios seated left on omphalos, holding an arrow, to right **[B]ASILEWS* to left ANTIOXOY, ES to outer left, (cf.S.6933, SC 1133.8a, HGC 9, 447ff). Good very fine, very scarce.
