L. CUPIENNIA, silver denarius, 147 B.C., (3.68 g), Rome Mint, obv. head of Roma right, helmeted, X under chin, cornucopiae behind, rev. the Dioscuri right, L.C VP (ligated) below horses, Roma in exergue (S.94, Cr 218/1, Syd 404, BMC 850). Toned, very fine and rare.
