C. PISO L.F. Frugi, (c.67 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.81 g), obv. Apollo head to right with fillet, letter behind, symbol before, rev. L. PISO FRVGI. across, below naked horseman with palm, galloping to right, (S.348, Cr.408/1, Syd.847, RSC Calpurnia 24aa). Toned, flan crack, good very fine.
