JULIUS CAESAR, silver denarius, issued 44 B.C., Rome Mint, (3.43 g), obv. laureate head right, CA[ESAR IM] to right, P[M] behind separated by a crescent, rev. Venus standing left holding Victory and sceptre, around L. AEMILIVS [BVCA], (S.1060, Cr.480/4, BMC 4152, Sear Julius Caesar 22 [p.108]). Banker's marks on obverse and reverse, otherwise nearly fine and rare.
