AUGUSTUS, (27 B.C. - A.D. 14), AE dupondis or as, Nemasusus mint, issued after 16-15 B.C. - A.D. 10, (12.61 g), obv. head of Agrippa to left wearing rostral crown and bare head of Augustus to right, above IMP below SDIVI F, dotted border, rev COL NEM on either side of palm-shoot, chained crocodile to right below, wreath above, (S.1729, RPC 523, RIC 155). Brown and green toning, surface roughness otherwise very fine.
