GALBA, (A.D. 68-69), AE sestertius, (25.86 g), Rome mint, issued A.D. 68, obv. obv. laureate draped bust of Galba to right, around IMP SER SVLP GALBA CAES AVG TR P, rev. Libertas standing to left, holding pileus and vertical rod, around LIBERTAS PVBLICA, S C across, (cf.S.2118, RIC 309, BMC 71). Deep brown patina, mild surface pitting, very fine or better and scarce.
