PHILIP II (247-249 A.D.), AE sestertius, issued 248 A.D., Rome Mint, (16.05 g), obv. laureate head right, around IMP M IVL PHILIPPVS AVG, rev. SAECVLARES AV[GG] around, Goat or Elk walking to left, in exergue S C, (S.9283, RIC 264a, C.73). Deeply toned, very fine and a scarce issue.
