MAXENTIUS, (A.D. 306-312), AE folles, Rome mint, issued 308-11, (6.07 and 6.38 g), obv. laureate head to right of Maxentius, around IMP C MAXENTIVS P F AVG, rev. CONSERV VRB SVAE around, RBQ in exergue, Roma seated facing, head left, in hexastyle temple, holding globe and sceptre, shield at side, knobs as acroteria and wreath in pediment, (S.14987, RIC 210) (first illustrated); another, Osia Mint, (6.86 g), Victory advancing left with wreath and palm, mintmark MOSTT, (S.15026, RIC 54); another, (5.77 g), rev. Castor and Pollux standing facing each other, each holding sceptre and holding a horse by the bridle, (S.14975, RIC 35). Toned, fine - very fine or better. (4)
