MacNamara Henry Dix (note medal above is named H.M.Dix), surveyor, age 24, born at St Lucia, West Indies, late of West India Police; Enl.26Dec1899 at Winnipeg, Province of Manitoba; served with The Canadian Mounted Rifles later designated Royal Canadian Dragoons; Disch.30Sep1900 and joined Imperial Military Railway and served until 13Jan1901.
