Lot 3761    SESSION 13 (2.30PM THURSDAY 21ST NOV)    Militaria

Estimate $50
Bid at live.noble.com.au
SOLD $220

AUSTRALIA, Imperial Camel Corps (Anzac Section), 1912-18, hat badge in brass (cf Cossum 186). Very fine.

With copy of email messages with images sent in 2015 to J.Cossum to ask his opinion of the authenticity of the badge. He responded that it 'looks OK to me'. There are some rough areas around the middle and back of the surface near the camel so buyers should examine the badge or the catalogue illustration and make their own decision.

Estimate / sale price does not include buyer's premium (currently 22% including GST) which is added to hammer price. All bids are executed on the understanding that the Terms & Conditions of sale have been read and accepted. For information on grading and estimates please refer to the Buying at Auction advice.
