FIJI, Bowai timber club (approx 104cm long), very heavy hardwood club with inlaid pattern at one end, used for battle but also ceremonial, small, old tag affixed with difficult to read script, appears to be, 'Na Malanell/Club (Nai Woiu)/from/Sanbeto, N.W. of/Viti Levu, Fiji/1896'. Very fine.
