Ex R.J. Ford (lot 382) Collection. Moses Tolanto was a Jewish merchant who issued tokens in order to attract business from the recently emanicipated slaves (1834), Noble Numismatics Sale 61b (W.J. Noble Collection) (lot 1332), Mark E. Freehill Collection.
