CANADA, James Cook-George Vancouver, (1965), in white metal (32mm) (K.25), issued as a promotion for school children; British Columbia, Captain Cook Bi-Centennial, 1978, in oxidised silver (51mm; 48.75g) and another identical in oxidised bronze (K.98) (2); Port Alberni B.C., Captain Cook Bicentennial as trade dollar, 1978, in nickel (34mm) (K.103); Captain Cook Sea Festival in Vancouver commemorative dollars set of five, 1978, in nickel (each 39mm) (3 feature Captain Cook) (K.104A, B, C), together with a fold-out map, all in a folder; Victoria B.C. City of Gardens (Visitor Information Centre), commemorating Captain Cook at Nootka Sound, 1978, in gilt bronze (33mm) (K.107); Captain Cook Bicentennial/Canadian Armed Forces, 1978, in gold anodised aluminium (39mm) (K.112C). The first with streaking and oxidation, fine, the fourth with an oxidation spot on reverse and the last with a few minor edge marks, otherwise extremely fine - uncirculated. (set of 5 + 6)
