WORLD CAPTAIN COOK MEDALS, includes Canada, 200th Anniversary of Cook's Arrival in Western Canada, 1978, proof in silver (39mm) (K.115), by International Society of Postmasters; Great Britain, Captain Cook Lands on One of His Voyages of Discovery, (1964), proof in gilt silver (45mm) (K.22), by The Mint, Birmingham, edge number 0649, reverse the Arms of Captain Cook; James Cook Map Maker & Explorer, (1969), proof in silver (45mm) (K.34), issued by Britannia Commemorative Society, edge number 233; Royal Society Memorial Medal/Resolution Adventure Medal, cast copy (1980), in gilt (45mm) (K.118), by British Museum, with suspension loop, edge marked, 'B.M.P.L'; Captain James Cook from The Greatest Britons Series, (2009), proof in silver plated with enamel (40mm) (K.-), by Windsor Mint; also unidentified issuer, James Cook Discoverer of New Zealand And Australia, Great European Discoverers, undated, in silver (30mm) (K.-), reverse numbered 1093. All medals in capsules, extremely fine - FDC. (6)

The last medal has also been sighted with an identical obverse design but in brass and with German text.
