THE ILLUSTRATED SYDNEY NEWS, New Series, Vol.3, No.53, Saturday, October 7, 1854 to No.90 Vol.IV, Saturday, June 30, 1855, a total of 36 weekly editions in 356 numbered pages, all bound in leather cover by W.E.Smith, Book Binder, Sydney, the spine gold blocked 'Sydney/News/1854'. The blank cover pages torn or creased, the cover inside edges torn, number 242 printed in error on page 244 and pages 245/6 missing (appear never to have been included), foxing on many pages, cover with spotting and some small loss of paper, the newspapers all intact, flat and very fine.
