BATTLE OF THE NILE, Davison's Nile Medal, 1798, in bronze (47mm) by Kuchler, (BHM 447; Eimer 890), with incuse edge inscription, 'A Tribute of Regard From Alexr Davison Esqr St.James's Square'. With some surface marks and small edge nicks, otherwise very fine.

Issued in bronze to crew of ships who saw service in Lord Nelson's victory of the Nile, 1 August 1798.
