ITALY, Lucania, Metapontum, (c.470-440 B.C.), silver diobol (0.98 g), obv. ear of barley with four grains without any ethnic, rev. incuse barley grain, flanked by annulets in relief, (S.240, Noe 300, HN Italy 1488 [diobol]). Very fine, toned.
