THESSALY, Larissa, (400-360 B.C.), silver drachm (5.48 g), obv. naked youth restraining bull to left with dotted border, rev. horse prancing to right with long rein hanging, **LARI above, **SAIA below, within incuse square, (S.2111, BCD 372.5 [Triton XV] for similar dies, Lorber, Thessalian 52; BCD Thessaly II 174; HGC 4, 420). Slightly rough surface on reverse otherwise good very fine and very scarce.

Ex George Mihailuk Collection, acquired from H. Larkin, in the 1960s.
