KEPHALLENIA, Pale, island near Elis, (c.430-370 B.C.), silver tetrobol (3.60 g), obv. bare head of the hero Kephalos to left, **P A* in field, rev. naked Kephalos seated on rock to left, to left upwards **[K]EFALO[S]*, (S.2935, BMC 8-10, cf.Dorotheum November 18, 2015 [lot 733]). Toned, nearly extremely fine and rare.
