IONIA, Teos, (540-520 B.C.), silver didrachm, (11.76 g), obv. Griffin seated to right with raised foreleg, on a dotted base line, rev. quadripartite incuse square of rough form, (cf.S.3512, Balcer [SNR 1968, Vol.47], Group I No.2 similar obv. die A2, rev. die P-). Obverse off slightly off centred, otherwise nearly very fine and rare.
