IONIA, Teos, (c. 500-475 B.C,), silver stater (11.75 g). obv. Griffin seated right, raising forepaw, two olive leaves before, around retrograde T H I, line border, rev. quadripartite incuse square, (cf.S.4576, Balcer group XLV [same dies obv.A94, rev.126], examples in ANS and Paris). Very fine and rare.
