SYRIA, Kingdom of, Antiochos VIII, (121-96 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.02 g), Antioch Mint, second reign, issued 112-111/0 B.C., obv. diademed head of Antiochos VIII to right, fillet border, rev. Zeus Uranius with crescent above standing to left, holding star and sceptre, on right **BASILEOS and **ANTIOCOU and to left **EPIFANOUS, to left monogram over A, small K to inner right, (cf.S.7143, SC 2302.1e, HGC 1197e). Toned, nearly extremely fine and very scarce.
