REPUBLIC, Anonymous, (c.211-208 B.C.), AE sextans, Light Victory series, (3.29 g), obv. Mercury head to right in winged petasus two pellets above, rev. prow to right, above ROMA, Victory flying right above, below two pellets, (S.1252, Cr.61/6, Syd.148d). Has been cleaned, now toning, very fine and scarce.
