Q. FABIUS MAXIMUS, (127 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.85 g), obv. Roma helmeted head right, * below chin, ROMA behind, Q.MAX before, rev. cornucopiae upon thunderbolt, all within wreath, (S.141, Cr.265/1, Syd.478, B.Fabia 5). Has been cleaned, otherwise nearly very fine and rare.
