TIBERIUS, (A.D. 14-37), AE as, Rome mint, issued A.D., 22-23, (10.99 g), obv. bare head to left, around TI CAESAR DIVI AVG F AVGVST IMP VIII, rev. PONTIF MAXIM TRIBVN POTEST XXIIII around, SC in centre, (S.1770, RIC 44 var., BMC 91 var.). Attractive green and brown patina, nearly very fine and scarce.
