HADRIAN, (A.D. 117-138), travel series denarius, issued 130-133, Rome mint, (3.28 g), obv. bare head to right of Hadrian, around HADRIANVS AVG COS III P P, rev. AEGYPTOS around, Egypt reclining left, lotus on head, holding sistrum, resting on basket, ibis before, (S.3456, RIC II.3: 1481). Lightly toned, very fine and a scarce travel series issue.
