HADRIAN, (A.D. 117-138), AE dupondius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 119-122, (12.26 g), obv. radiate bust of Hadrian to right, around IMP CAESAR TRAIANVS HADRIANVS AVG P M TR P COS III, rev. AETERN[ITAS] AVGVSTI, S C to left and right, Aeternitas standing front, head to left, holding bust of Sol in her right hand and bust of Luna in her left, (S.-, RIC II.3: 462-63, C.134). Deep bronze patina, surface pitting, nearly very fine and rare.
