ANTONINUS PIUS, (A.D. 138-161), AE as, (11.77 g), Rome Mint, issued A.D. 154-155, obv. laureate head of Antoninus Pius to right, around [ANTONINVS AVG] PI VS P P TR P XVIII, rev. Britannia seated to left on rock, to left shield and sceptre, around BRITA[NNIA COS] IIII, in exergue S C, (S.4296, RIC 934, C.117). Dark brown patina, nearly very fine and rare.
