PIE TAS and S C across field, Pietas standing right, raising right hand and holding box of incense, (S.-, RIC 527, C.615) (illustrated); another, rev. Mars, helmeted, naked but for cloak waving behind him, holding spear and shield, descending right through the air to Rhea Silvia, reclining left, (S.4315, RIC 694); another, Tiber reclining left with elbow on rock, holding reed, arm resting on boat, (S.-, RIC 706); another, rev. S P Q R OPTIMO PRINCIPI S C in oak wreath, (S.4314, RIC 827); another, rev. Aequitas standing left, holding scales and cornucopiae, (cf.RIC 525); sestertius, rev. Securitas standing left, holding long sceptre, leaning on column, (S.4231, RIC 640). Toning, poor - very fine. (6)
