SIKH EMPIRE, 19th century, iron helmet of hemispherical shape with raised anthropomorphic finial, horns and plume holders attached, adjustable nasal guard, camail of chain mail below, gold damascened motifs, (370mm high); iron greave shin guard of similar style with gold damascened traces, (320mm long). Very fine and scarce. (2)
