QUEEN'S SOUTH AFRICA MEDAL 1899, (type 3 reverse). 1013 Pte J.W.Ferrey. Peninsula H. Impressed. Some contact marks and hairlines, otherwise good very fine.

This unit was raised in October 1901 and disbanded three months later in January 1902. Members were entitled to QSA only, no clasps.

Recorded on medal roll for Peninsula Horse as J.W.Ferry (note different spelling to naming on medal).
