PAIR: Queen's South Africa Medal 1899, (type 3 reverse), - three clasps - Cape Colony, Orange Free State, Transvaal; Medal for the Defence of Ookiep in bronze. 1322 Pte J.H.Wills. Rly: Pnr: Regt on first medal, J.H.Wills on second medal. Both medals impressed. Swing mounted, heavily toned, the first with hairlines, otherwise very fine.
Together with padded storage case.
Only 537 bronze medals awarded for Defence of Ookiep.
