MELBOURNE INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION, 1888-1889, French Participation, in gilt bronze (57mm) (Not listed in Carlisle), by Alphee Dubois, obverse, sitting female figure right and holding a globe, at the left an Antarctic scene and at the right a desert scene, around the top, 'Ministere Du Commerce Et De l'Industrie', reverse, wreath around a circle and in this the details, 'Exposition Internationale De Melbourne/Participation/De La France (inscribed) 'MARTIN (TH)'/1888-1889'. Good extremely fine and very rare.
