DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE, Victoria, Grand National Agricultural Show, Tatura (inscribed), in silver (47mm), by Stokes, reverse inscribed 'John Bond/1898/Ayrshire Bull'. With damaged case, hairlines and some small nicks, otherwise extremely fine.
John Bond of Fairfield, Greenvale,at the time a semi-rural area of Melbourne, was a prominent breeder of the popular Ayrshire breed of dairy cattle.
