PEEK AND CAMPBELL - TEA STORES, Sydney penny, 1852 (A.427, H247/1) the 'four lines' pattern by J.C. Thornthwaite struck on a medal press rather rather than his regular 'drop hammer' press. Even brown patina, good very fine and extremely rare, third finest of six known.

This specimen was recently discovered in an old English collection and has not previously been offered at auction.
