WEST AFRICA, Nigeria, Macgregor Laird, one eighth penny or 1/400th dollar, 1858, farthing size token in copper (21mm) no smoke emitting from funnel (die I)(Vice 7). Weakly struck in places, attractive brown patina, nearly extremely fine and rare, the rarest of three die varieties.
