WATERSIDE WORKERS FEDERATION OF AUSTRALIA. Silver with dark and light blue enamel. Number 705 on reverse. Smith #707; Waterside Workers Federation of Australia. Made by Millers Ltd Sydney. A variety of the previous badge in brass and red enamel. Numbered on reverse lug 2658. Smith #707; Waterside Workers Federation Melbourne Branch. Made by Stokes Melbourne. Number 3348 on reverse. Brass gilt with green enamel. Smith #726; Waterside Workers Federation of Australasia Sydney Branch. Numbered on front 1481. Made by Millers Ltd Sydney. Made of brass. This badge is unusual in that it has a sheaf of wheat distributed around in 4 places. On the reverse are the initials 'WWF of A' within the form of a cross and the number '39' stamped in. I presume the '39' is 1939 the year of service. This badge is not listed in Smith's book but I believe would fit in between Smith #737 - #746. Very fine - good extremely fine. (4)
