BATTLE OF THE NILE, Davidson's Medal, 1798, in bronze (47mm), by C.H. Kuchler, Nelson's, bust on shield held by Peace, rev. British Fleet at Aboukir Bay, edge impressed 'From Alexr. Davidson Esq St James's Square Tribute of Regard' with blue ribbon as issued to ratings (Eimer 890; BHM 447). Attractive brown patina, extremely fine.
