SYRIA, Kingdom of, Antiochus VI,(144-142 B.C.), AE20,(6.93 g), undated bronze, Antioch mint, obv. diademed radiate head of Antiochus VI to right, rev. elephant walking to left, above **[BASI]L[EWS] [AN]TOXOY, to right **STA* and control mark palm branch, below **[E]PIFANOYS [DI]ONYSOY, (cf.S.7081,SNG Cop.305, Newell SMA .70). Serrated edge, somewhat off-centred otherwise nearly very fine, scarce.
