SYRIA, Antioch, Roman Provincial coinage under Nero (54-68 A.D.), AE 30mm, (15.34 g), obv, around IM NER CL[AV] - CAESAR, laureate head right, in front, lituus, dotted border, rev. SC in laurel wreath, dotted border, (cf.S.619, RPC 4307, SNG Cop 158, BMC 177-8, Butcher 125). Dark brown patina, surface pitting, very fine and scarce.
