Sphinx seated to right, (S.4099, BMC 5) (illustrated); Claudius, (A.D. 41-54), AE sestertius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 41-42, (22.46 g), obv. laureate head of Claudius to right, rev. Spes draped advancing to left, PRO countermark to left on obverse and another to the right, (S.1853, BMC 132, RIC 99, cf.C.85, CBN 165); Bithynia, Nicaea, Septimius Severus, (AD 193-211), AE11, (2.32 g), obv. laureate head right, rev. Demeter standing left, holding long torch and grain ears, (Waddington 336); Achaea, Patrae, Caracalla, (AD 198-217), AE12, (2.74 g), obv. laureate, bust right, rev. Hermes seated left, hand on ram and holding caduceus, (S.2498, BCD Peloponnesus 576.1). Toned, poor - nearly very fine, some rare. (4)
