JUILA SOAEMIAS, mother of Elagabalus, (c. A.D.218-222), AE sestertius, (22.32 g), Rome mint, issued 220, obv. diademed, draped bust to right, [I]VLIA SOAEMIAS [AVG], rev. [VENVS CA]ELESTIS, Venus seated left, holding apple and sceptre, child at feet, SC in exergue, (S.7725, RIC 406, C.18). Green patina, surface roughness on reverse, nearly very fine and rare.
