HERENNIUS ETRUSCUS AS CAESAR, (A.D. 249-251), AE sestertius, issued 250, (14.64 g), obv. bare headed and draped bust of Herennius Etruscus to right, around blundered legend resembling Q HER ETR MES DECIVS NOB C, rev. PRINCEP IVVEN[TVTIS], Emperor standing to left in military attire holding baton and transverse spear, S C to left and right, (S.9534, RIC 171a, C.28). Deep green patina, has been tooled resulting in a blundered obverse legend, good very fine with an attractive portrait, scarce.
