TREBONIANUS GALLUS, (A.D. 251-253), AE sestertius, Rome mint, (15.25 g), obv. laureate bust of Trebonianus Gallus to right, around [IMP] CAES C V[IBIV]S TREBO[NIANV]S GALLVS AVG, rev. Salus standing left beside serpent entwined altar, holding sceptre and patera, around [SA]LVS AVGG, S C across field, (S.9679, RIC 122a, C.119). Deep green patina, struck on a square flan, very fine and scarce.
