QUEEN'S SOUTH AFRICA MEDAL 1899, (type 3 reverse), - clasp - Cape Colony, with Midland Mounted Rifles metal title (no lugs and pierced holes for fitting) and KSA riband attached to ribbon. Capt: & Adjt: E.Mannheimer. Midland M.R. Impressed. Hairlines, otherwise good very fine.

Entitled to King's South Africa Medal 1902.

Captain E.Mannheimer confirmed on nominal roll of Midland Mounted Rifles. Served as Lieutenant with D.D.V. Guard (Dordrecht District Volunteer Guard) 12Mar1900 to 06Mar1901 (effective date - see following enlistment date) and Midland Mounted Rifles 01Mar1901 to 31Mar1902.
