COMMONWEALTH, (1649 - 1660), silver crown, 1656/4, (30.21 g), reverse with date 1656 with large 6 over small 6 and 4 (S.3214, N.2721, ESC 9a[R]). Attractive dark grey tone, round, nearly very fine and rare.

Ex Robert Tonner Collection, from Noble Numismatics Sale 92, November, 2009, The Cornwall Collection (lot 3122), and Seaby's, London, bought on commission from Glendining Auction Sale July 7, 1982 (lot 77).
