MEDALLIC ILLUSTRATIONS OF THE HISTORY OF GREAT BRITAIN AND IRELAND, by The British Museum Department of Coins and Medals, 1979 edition, hardcover (28.5x42cm), unnumbered pages but approx 30mm thick, hundreds of medals illustrated in b&w, with four indexes for 1. Inscriptions, 2. Engravers and Artists, 3. Engravers' Initials etc, and 4. General, inside the front cover is a sticker indicating that this book is No.7 of a limited edition of fifty copies hardbound in English hide by George Miller of Oswestry, cover page signed by David L.Allen. Foxing on cover and cover pages and some small loss of material on spine, otherwise good very fine.
