GERMANY, 16th century, hand and a half sword, double edged straight blade in handcrafted steel with engraving at the top quarter along the outside edge of the fuller on both sides and with three unidentified marks in the fuller on one side, with a wide guard and large and small ports with a counterguard, the grip is wire wrapped and has a large steel pommel. Very fine.
